Child's Bedroom

The only thing certain about children’s furniture is that they will grow out of it. That’s why we designed, built and installed a bed that can be reconfigured as the child ages. Our inspiration? Legos.

Using two basic box shapes and pre-drilled holes, we created a fully modular, twin-sized bed perfect for any creative youngster. But we also designed it so that it won’t feel childish in five years. Each box can be made or without an inset drawer—which means you can customize your storage solutions. All the boxes are made from super-durable maple plywood, and the drawers have inset pulls so kids won’t bang their shins on handles.

To add some creative flair, we even created some wall art for the room. This modern wainscoting (seen on the back wall) brings a touch of the mountains to this child’s room without being so literal.
